Campus Crusade for Christ -- Rapid Deployment Kits

Dear friend,

A friend of the ministry recently sent this very touching note: "This gift is made possible through the sacrifice of the lives of the 37 U.S. Navy men who were killed in action by Iraqi missiles aboard the USS Stark on May 17th, 1987, and is made in memory of them. Romans 8:28."

In a follow-up email, this friend goes on to share, "My husband also served in 'Nam and was one of those KIA on the Stark. My son (age five) and I were over there in the Persian Gulf at the time the attack occurred. We have had many opportunities to give our testimony about the incident since then, praise the Lord! We encourage others to give RDKs in memory, also. God bless!"

As our troops continue to face tremendous challenges and danger, many turn to the materials included in each Rapid Deployment Kit - a New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs, a daily devotional, and a booklet that clearly shares the Gospel - to find comfort and hope. And many more service members are asking for these spiritual resources.

Since the beginning of this year, Campus Crusade for Christ's Military Ministry has been receiving requests for an average of about 20,000 RDKs per month. To learn how you can help reach our troops with God's Word, click here.
